FOR HEBER CITY COUNCIL
ABOUT
Heber is a special place, and I believe there is much more we can do to grow responsibly. Together, we can unlock the potential that allows our future to be as promising as our past.”
A longtime resident of the Heber Valley, Sid fondly refers to it as “God’s country.” He and his wife, Jen, moved to the area 25 years ago looking for a slower pace. From beautiful views to welcoming residents, they instantly knew Heber was special. They have raised six children here, staying active and involved in the community along the way.
In addition to serving on the committee for Envision Central Heber, Sid has been a part of the Heber City Planning Commission for more than four years. A land planner and landscape architect by trade, he has spent more than two decades helping cities like Heber plan for and facilitate smart growth. His experience ranges from site selection and design to building master plans for entire communities.
SID IS EAGER TO PUT HIS UNIQUE SKILLS TO USE AND GIVE BACK TO THE PLACE HE'S PROUD TO CALL HOME.
With growth happening in every corner of Heber, the City Council desperately needs someone who understands the heart of the community.
His knowledge and expertise will serve as a much-needed resource as we continue to lay the groundwork for ambitious plans like Envision 2050. His motivation to run for City Council stems from a desire to help Heber grow in the smartest and most responsible way possible.
Sid and Jen have been married for 35 years. They have six children who all graduated from Wasatch High School: Tyler, Kendrick, Mckeil, Hailey, Sidney, and Vic. Sid and Jen are also the proud grandparents of four children, three of which live right here in Heber City. Among Sid's many points of community involvement, he has been coaching volleyball since 2004 and served as head coach at Wasatch High School for three years.
